This my 2nd version of a 3D shuttlecock cake. This is a lot bigger than the first I made. The diameter at the bottom is around 12″ and the height of the cake is around 16″ high.

This cake is inspired by the cherry blossom tree or Sakura in Japanese. To add elegance this cake I hand painted the trunks gold.

This is a cake based on a cake I made but I redesigned it. I changed the flowers on my designed and made it into cherry blossoms.

Norie’s Kitchen – Hawaiian Debut Cake

When I see a lot of fruits I feel that it gives me a sense of abundance. This 3 layer cake is made to look like it’s made out of fruits. This is a cake I made for a hawaiian themed party. I also designed the cake board to have a beach feel by making a border out of gumpaste that looks like bamboo. I also scattered brown sugar on it to make it look like sand.

This is a cake I made for a Parisian themed party. And I guess from all the landmarks in Paris the most easily recognizable would be the Eiffel Tower. To balance the rigidity of the tower structure, I added a delicate flower on the side of the cake.

Norie’s Kitchen – English Garden Debut Cake

I named this design the English Garden Cake because of the fondant plaque where I wrote the name of the celebrant. The plaque and flowers remind me of an English Tea Party. This design would pass as a simple yet elegant wedding cake if not for the number 18 on the top which I made using metallic beads to add bling.
